Step #5: Promote Your Podcast
Syndicating your audio media items to various podcast platforms is a great first step, but wouldn't it be nice if people could subscribe to your podcast directly from within your Sermon Engine, rather than having to search for your podcast on their own?
Follow these steps to easily promote your podcast and add a ' Subscribe to Podcast' button in your Sermon Engine 👇
STEP #1: Access your Podcast Settings, specifically your Promote Settings. Or click here.
STEP #2: Edit the four fields available to personalize the message surrounding your call to action for people to subscribe to your podcast.
Podcast URL
Go to the podcast platform you're syndicating your episodes to and find your podcast's unique URL. If you syndicate your podcast episodes to various platforms, you'll need to make a decision on which platform you'd most like to send people to.
Note: Your 'Podcast Promotion' section will not appear on your Sermon Engine unless you input a URL here.
Button Text
Choose what you want your Subscribe to Podcast button to say. This is your chance to choose a strong call to action phrase. "Subscribe to podcast" will be the default button text, but feel free to change it to be whatever you'd prefer.
Footer Heading
Choose what you want your heading to say above your ' Subscribe to Podcast' button. This is your chance to introduce people to the fact that you have a podcast and are constantly updating it with new content. "Want new content automatically?" will be the default headline, but feel free to change it to be whatever you'd prefer.
Byline/Paragraph
Choose what you want your byline or paragraph to say. This will appear between your headline and ' Subscribe to Podcast' button. This is you chance to further explain your podcast. Perhaps you want to explain what type of content people will find there or how often you release new episodes. (Even leave it blank if you'd prefer!) The text in the image below will appear by default, but feel free to change it to be whatever you'd prefer.
Save Your Changes
Don't forget to save all your changes! 
What does this look like on my Sermon Engine?
Your Podcast Promotion will appear in a pre-footer section at the bottom of any page on your Sermon Engine. Though you can change the text to be whatever you'd like it to be, your Podcast Promotion section will look something like this 👇
