Planning Center

Integrating your Nucleus with Planning Center allows you to add PCO Forms directly into any Nucleus card. PCO Forms can trigger Workflows automatically and will allow you to pass information directly from Nucleus into your Planning Center People database.

Step #1 - Authorizing Nucleus

To link Nucleus with your Planning Center account, you'll first need to authorize the integration.

Begin by navigating to the Planning Center integration pagein your Nucleus account found in your Settings.

Here, click on the 'Authorize' button link your PCO account to your Nucleus.

From here, you'll be asked to authorize the Nucleus/PCO integration. Click on the 'Allow' button.

Now, to complete the integration, simply paste in your PCO Church Center unique value into the space provided and click 'Update Integration.'

Click here to access your PCO Church Center value.

Step #2 - Add Planning Center Forms To Your Nucleus Cards

Now that you've successfully linked your Nucleus and PCO accounts, you can add any Planning Center Form you've created in PCO directly to any Nucleus card.

Simply use the PCO Forms block in the Nucleus Card Builder and drag the block wherever you wish to place your PCO Form button.

Now, use the dropdown tab to select with PCO Form you wish to add your chosen Nucleus card, add your preferred text to your form button, and click the 'Update' button to save your changes - and you're done!

Now that you've added a PCO Form to a Nucleus card, a lightbox form will appear when you click on the button [example below].

Important Notes

  • NOTE I: If you were using the previous version of the Nucleus/PCO integration, nothing changes and your forms will work as they always have. You'll still be able to push data to Planning Center, and see your form submissions in the Nucleus dashboard. However, if you want to take advantage of the new PCO Forms feature, you'll need to use the new authorization process detailed above. (Don't delete you application and secret key. Otherwise the previous version of the Nucleus/PCO integration will not work anymore.)
  • NOTE II: With the announcement of Planning Center Forms, PCO gives you the ability to send all types of data from your Nucleus to your Planning Center People database - however, and this is especially important, by using the Nucleus/PCO Forms integration, any data submitted through a Planning Center Form in a lightbox WILL NOT be stored in your Nucleus Submissions database. Your data will be passed from your Nucleus to your Planning Center People database, but that information will be absent from your Nucleus.
