Design Settings

The design settings are a place to make additional tweaks and customization's to your Nucleus. To get to the design settings, click the settings button and then on the left hand side under web, click design.

Within the design settings their are 5 sections which are labeled Navigation, Homepage, Cards, Pages and Buttons. We will break down the features within each of these sections to give you more detailed information about what you can do.

Navigation

This section is devoted to making modifications to your navigation bar. You can choose a full-width or rounded style, or instead use the mobile menu across all screens. For reference, the mobile menu is the hamburger icon (located in the upper right hand corner) that is found when using Nucleus on a mobile device. Simply click the hamburger icon to open up additional navigation options that would normally be seen in your navigation bar. Click the "x" icon in the top right to bring the homepage back up.

Finally, you can have the navigation bar sticky when scrolling through your Nucleus and you can also change the position of the navigation bar on your Nucleus to be above or below your logo.

Homepage

The homepage section allows you to make changes to elements on your homepage such as the ability to place cards below your header and hide your homepage header or footer on mobile. You can even change how people on mobile navigate your Nucleus by adjusting it to either swipe or scroll on mobile.

Finally, you can have as few or as many featured cards as you like on your homepage. Simply type the number to reflect how many you would like on your homepage. Below is an example of what a featured card looks like. Standard cards are square while featured cards are rectangular.

Cards

This section focuses specifically on hiding, shaping and adjusting the look of cards on your homepage. You can change the shape of a card from square to rounded or extra rounded, hide titles and descriptions on cards and even turn off shadows. You can also change the rollover animation when hovering the mouse over your cards.

Pages

Here you can make some adjustments to your pages to give them a more distinct look and feel. You can change the header design on your cards to either be flat or angular and also hide titles and descriptions on page headers specifically. Here is some examples of what a flat vs angular header would look like.

Buttons

The final section in the design settings allows you to customize all the buttons on your Nucleus. You can keep them square or make them rounded or even extra rounded.
