Multiple Choice Element

To add a multiple choice element to a Nucleus Form, begin by dragging and dropping the multiple choice form element onto your Nucleus Form block.

Upon adding a multiple choice element to your form, click on the heading of your new element, and you'll be presented with a number of different settings/options to further customize your new form element.

Label

The label is the heading given to your form element. This label is important for letting your user know what type of information belong in this particular form field.

Description

Adding a description to a field can help clarify exactly what type of information you want to be filled out in that field.

Choices

The Choices tab allows you to create each of the individual checkbox items that a user will be able to select.

NOTE: When using the Multiple Choice form element, users will only be able to select a single response. If you wish to use a form element that only allows users to select multiple responses, make sure to use a Checkboxes form field.

By default, your multiple choice form element will begin with two different choices for you to configure. To add more multiple choice options, simply click on the 'Add new choice' link.

To delete a choice, click on the 'X' button corresponding to the multiple choice option you wish to remove.

Make Required

By toggling the 'Make Required' switch to the 'On' position, you'll ensure that your form cannot be submitted without this form element being filled out.

If a user tries to submit your form without filling out the required form element, they'll be met with an error message letting them know they missed a required field.
